About the Environment and Sustainability Committee
The Key functions of the Environment and Sustainability Committee are to
- Support the development and implementation of a long term (ten year) Environment and Sustainability Management Plan
- Act as a key reference body for Council in regard to strategic and key operational matters pertaining to Environment and Sustainability.
- Make recommendations to Council relevant to Environment and Sustainability.
The Committee membership consists of Community Members, Elected Members, Department of Environment and Water, Berri Barmera Landcare and Crown Lands.
Meets: (Bi-monthly) Second Tuesday of every second month at 6.00pm
Where: Berri Barmera Council chambers, 19 Wilson Street Berri
