Riverfront Retrofit

PUBLIC CONSULTATION

PROPOSED BERRI RIVERFRONT PRECINCT RETROFITTING

Community members are being asked to provide their feedback in guiding the plans for the rectification of traffic flow issues identified at the Riverview Drive intersections with Vaughan Tce and Ahern Street.

After listening to reactions from community members and visitors, some proposed solutions to minimise many concerns regarding the recent construction of the Riverview Drive, have been presented to Council.

These proposed works, outlined in the image below, have been costed and Council will be offering the community the chance to provide further feedback.

Onsite Walk Through and Information Sessions

Like any construction project, it is often difficult to visualise the end product (and how your use might be affected) from just the paper drawings, so this consultation will include two onsite opportunities to discuss the proposals, including marked outlines of the proposed changes for visual reference.

Council representatives will be on-site, to answer questions, between:

  • 3pm to 5.30pm Thursday 14 March 2019 and
  • 11am to 1.30pm on Friday 15 March 2019

Submission forms will be available onsite.
