If you love to dabble in a bit of wine tasting, you must visit Australia's largest winery and distillery. Berri Estates Winery Cellar Door Sales is towered over by a 70-year-old lemon scented gum tree, which acts as a sentinel welcoming its visitors to a wide range of wines for tasting. It produces wines for the domestic and export market of consistently high quality under the BRL Hardy label. Products include table wines for both the bottle and cask markets, along with fortified wines and brandy. Some familiar brand names are Nottage Hill, Banrock Station and many more.

The Riverland produces up to 95% of South Australia's stone fruit, citrus and almonds and when you're driving throughout the Riverland you'll understand why. Fruit stalls are dotted along the Old Sturt Highway between Berri and Glossop and sell a large variety of in-season fruit and vegetables, so for some great fruit and vegetables fresh from the block, stop in!
