Looking for a community Group?
The Berri Barmera Council area plays host to numerous community groups who dedicate their time to providing many different services and events for the general public.
We use the online database SA Community to maintain our list of community organisations in the Berri Barmera Council.
All community groups have the opportunity to list their details for a FREE entry in Connecting Up’s SAcommunity online directory.
If you are involved in an organisation, please search the directory to see if it is listed. You can check the details and click the Leave a correction button to provide updated details if necessary. If your organisation is not listed, please add it to the directory.
Have you used your blue bag? 16 March 2015
Diabetes SA will be visiting the Berri and Barmera area every twelve weeks to undertake collections of donations of pre-loved goods from the residents of the area. Their next visit is on the 19th and 20th March, for which you should have received a blue bag in your letter box. You will receive a new bag approximately one week from the first collection date of each visit.
There is a summary of the types of items that can be donated on the bags but you can see more by following the link below. Remember that the more donations made, increases benefit to Diabetes SA while items are recycled and kept out of landfill which is great for the area.
