The Berri Barmera Council area plays host to numerous community groups who dedicate their time to providing many different services and events for the general public.

We use the online database SA Community to maintain our list of community organisations in the Berri Barmera Council.  

All community groups have the opportunity to list their details for a FREE entry in Connecting Up’s SAcommunity online directory.

If you are involved in an organisation, please search the directory to see if it is listed. You can check the details and click the Leave a correction button to provide updated details if necessary. If your organisation is not listed, please add it to the directory.

Riverland & Mallee Youth Sector Network - Grant Writing Workshop 27 February 2015

The Riverland & Mallee Youth Sector Network (RMYSN) is excited to provide a free Grant Writing workshop aimed at service providers who work with and or provide services to young people. This workshop will be facilitated on Wednesday April 15 2015 by Keith Whelan from the Grant Guys. Keith specialises in grants, tenders and funding consultancy, providing high level assistance to businesses, Local, State and Federal Government, not for profit organisations and private enterprises, enabling organisations to approach grants in a proactive manner. Good Sports - Responsible Service of Alcohol & Liquor Licensing Law 12 February 2015

The Australian Drug Foundation’s Good Sports program has been working with community sports clubs for over a decade to reduce the harm associated with excessive alcohol use by club members and fans. They will be visiting the Riverland on Wednesday 4th March 2015, hosted by the Loxton Golf Club. Further information and registration details are on the attached flyer.
