Looking for a community Group?

The Berri Barmera Council area plays host to numerous community groups who dedicate their time to providing many different services and events for the general public.

We use the online database SA Community to maintain our list of community organisations in the Berri Barmera Council.  

All community groups have the opportunity to list their details for a FREE entry in Connecting Up’s SAcommunity online directory.

If you are involved in an organisation, please search the directory to see if it is listed. You can check the details and click the Leave a correction button to provide updated details if necessary. If your organisation is not listed, please add it to the directory.

Youth encouraged to be part of Youth Parliment 27 January 2015

Youth Minister Zoe Bettison is encouraging 15 to 24-year-old South Australians from regional areas to consider applying for the 2015 YMCA Youth Parliament. Participants undergo a six-day residential camp in Adelaide from 5 to 10 July, 2015, which includes sitting days at Parliament House. Regional Development Minister Geoff Brock said young people from across South Australia should consider making their and their community’s voices heard. Applications close on Friday, 13 March 2015.

Information Session - Community Services training courses 27 January 2015

Australian Institute of Social Relations are conducting an information session in Berri on Thursday 29th January 2015. If you are interested in working within Community Services - this will be a great training opportunity. Registration details for the information session are on the attached flyer.

Join us for the Australia Day Community Walk 13 January 2015

In conjunction with Heart Foundation Walking Groups, we will be holding a community walk to kick start Australia Day along the Lake Bonney Foreshore. The event is free but pre-registration is preferred. For more information or to register follow the link below.
