Berri Riverfront Wharf

If you hear some banging around the Berri township during this week, it is more than likely coming from the sheet pile testing being undertaken down the riverfront as part of new wharf development project. The project is in its early stages and these works are required to assist the detailed design.

In July of this year, Council secured nearly $600,000 towards upgrading the Berri Riverfront Wharf. The aim is to install a sheet piled wharf which will run 260m along the riverfront.  The inclusion of this upgrade on the foreshore will assist future boaties with mooring whilst visiting the township, thereby encouraging more people to stop and visit our town.

This project is still in the early stages, we will keep you updated with images and details as the project progresses.
