CURRENT ENGAGEMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Berri Barmera Council recognises the importance of sport and recreation in our community and how vital it is to plan for both current and future needs. A core component of this process is developing a blueprint that will identify the optimal use, layout, and priorities for the consolidated planning of our sporting and leisure infrastructure into the future.

Whilst this is not a funding commitment for development of these assets, this project will provide direction and clarity of the priorities that will enable Council to be proactive and responsive to the needs of the community. With the research, investigation and engagement undertaken as part of this blueprint, Council will be able to deliver well planned assets and community spaces that are supported by operational processes and budget consideration.

This will ensure efficient outcomes and sustainability of community sporting and leisure infrastructure provision across Berri Barmera.
