Jetty Redevelopment
The Lake Bonney Jetty has reached its end of asset life. Council has allocated funding for community engagement and the design phase. Council is working in partnership with lead consultants Landskap for the Barmera Jetty Redevelopment. This project includes a two phase engagement:
Phase One: Closed – Council sought feedback and ideas to develop three concept plans.
Phase Two: April/May – Community will have the opportunity to select their preferred design of the three concept plans.
Feedback during the engagement periods will be considered by Council and the design team for inclusion in the three concept plans and preferred design selected following phase two.

PHASE TWO - CONSULTATION
Consultation Dates: 26 April 2023 to 24 May 2023

Phase one engagement received 299 submissions. This feedback was used to develop three new Jetty designs. Key themes were identified, specific to usability and accessibility for all users.
Phase two consultation will seek feedback on the three Jetty concepts, with the community selecting their preferred Jetty design. Phase two feedback will be collated and used to develop the project into a single Jetty design that meets the needs and aspirations of the community. Councill can then proceed with detailed design documentation at the appropriate time.
