Centrally located within the Riverland district, Berri and Barmera are perfect for exploring the region. Caravans, RVs, Motorhomes and campers often find themselves extending their stay in order to take in all the region has to offer.
To support visitors, Council has ensured both Berri and Barmera continue to become more RV Friendly. Our current provisions include:
Long vehicle parking near town centre:

Car parking area at the Senior Citizens Centre, Crawford Terrace.
Barmera
Car parking area between Langdon and Pascoe Tce (just off Fowles Street)
Low cost short term overnight camping:
We would obviously like you to stay in one of our local caravan parks:
- Berri Riverside Holiday Park
- Cobdogla Station Caravan Park
- Discovery Parks - Lake Bonney
- North Lake Caravan Park
However if these do not suit your needs then:
Berri - Martin Bend Reserve, Martin Bend Drive
Close to town centre, enjoy this bushland setting along the Murray River
$5/night (on-site self registration & caretaker), 21 night limit, toilets, dump point, BBQs, shade, dogs allowed (on lead)

Walking distance to beautiful Barmera and Lake Bonney, this quiet RV Park is the perfect spot to meet new friends
$5/night (you can register at Barmera Visitor Information Centre, online or via the QR code below) 4 night limit, toilets, dump point, water, dogs allowed (on lead)

Not just a stop for directions and brochures, the two accredited visitor information centres in Berri and Barmera are both a must visit. Both stock a large range of locally made art, craft and of course delicious foodie treats (to enjoy yourself or as a gift for someone at home!)
