Fruit fly has been detected in a property within the Berri township which means that there are now some restrictions in place for the movement of at risk fruit and vegetables within the area.

Library Services

The Berri Barmera Council have two public libraries in the district for the use by the community.

Both the Berri and Barmera Public Libraries offer a diverse range of services and resources including FREE public internet access (including WiFi), large print resources, magazines, newspapers, audio books, local and family history resources, fiction and non-fiction, FREE childrens storytime and activities and much much more.

Both libraries joined the SA Public Library One Card network in October 2013 and if you are already a member, you may use your borrowing card to borrow from other libraries across the State. Your One Card also provides you with access to free downloadable eBooks and online resources.
