This park has a wonderful pioneering history, developed by a local Monash identity Grant Telfer in the 60's. The original adventure amusement style play equipment was a sight and an experience to behold. For some of the truly amazing memories of what the park used to be like there is a Facebook page dedicated to sharing the many images and stories of the original and unique equipment items that made this park a highlight for so many in the 70's and 80's.
After recent funding there have been a number of items of equipment installed at the park. Including a giant tree house climbing structure and inclusive play equipment including a merry go round and swing set. The addition of further inclusive equipment complements the picnic shelter and a Liberty Swing that has been at the Park for a little while and enables those with special needs the freedom to play and enjoy the Park. A key to access the Liberty Swing is available from 'The Monash Club'.
