Barmera Recreation Centre
After renovations during 2013 and 2014 the Barmera Recreation Centre now consists of two separate operations.
- A sports stadium managed by Council and available for hire; and
- A commercially operated physiotheraphy, fitness and wellness centre.
The facility is home to the Barmera Basketball and Netball clubs intertown teams and also has regular Social Netball, Soccer and Badminton groups hiring the facility to conduct training and competitions.
The stadium is unmanned and requires bookings for the use of the courts or meeting rooms. These may be hired, by community organisations and individuals (who hold suitable public liability insurance) to undertake group activities.
