This park has a wonderful pioneering history, developed by a local Monash identity Grant Telfer in the 1960s. The original adventure amusement-style play equipment was a sight and an experience to behold.

For some of the memories of what the park used to be like, there is a Facebook page dedicated to sharing the many images and stories of the original and unique equipment items that made this park a highlight for so many in the '70s and '80s.

The addition of further inclusive equipment complements the picnic shelter and a Liberty Swing enables those with special needs the freedom to play and enjoy the park. A key to access the Liberty Swing is available from The Monash Club.
