Community Grants now open
The Berri Barmera Council’s 2024/25 Community Grants Program is now open for round two and aims to develop, encourage and support community and sporting groups to foster development of community services, events and provide opportunity for participation.
Berri Barmera Council Mayor Ella Winnall encouraged local community and sporting groups to apply for the community funding.
“Council is proud to provide essential funding to local groups each year to bring community initiatives to life,” she said.
“Our grants program enables our community to deliver the works and events that make the Berri Barmera area such a great place to live.
“By investing in these projects, programs and events, we’re investing in our people and our community.”
Eligible community groups can apply for grants of up to $4,000 for capital improvements and up to $1,500 (or $2,500 inclusive of cash and in-kind support) for events and activities.
