Strategic Plan
The Berri Barmera Council developed its Strategic Plan for 2025-2035 to guide the future management of the Council pursuant to Section 122 of the Local Government Act 1999.
The plan was adopted at a meeting of Council held on the 22 July 2025 after a period of public consultation and provides the framework for future sustainability of the Council, its area and the wider region.
The 2025–2035 Strategic Plan sets out the Berri Barmera Council’s vision and priorities for the next 10 years. It reflects what we aim to achieve for our community across economic, social, environmental and physical aspects of the region
The Strategic Plan 2025-2035 was shaped through a detailed review of the region, including Council's Long Term Strategic Directions.
