This iconic event has a rich history with support from yourself, and others like you in the community, helping to make an incredible difference to thousands of Novita families.

MILDURA TO BERRI
The Victorian River town of Mildura will be the starting point for this year's 433km journey downstream to Renmark for the 17th installment of Novita’s Mighty River Run. Having only been upriver of the SA/VIC border on two occasions in the run’s 16-year history, anticipation is high to travel along this magnificent stretch of the river.
Our 'boaties' will gather in Mildura for the official opening night dinner on Sunday 10th November at the Mildura Golf Resort, which will officially kick off the 2024 Mighty River Run.
It’ll be anchors up on Monday 11th November as the flotilla heads toward Wentworth and the junction of two of Australia’s great river systems – the Murray and Darling Rivers. The boats will take a detour up the Darling River, before completing a u-turn, retracing their wake and continuing down river to picturesque Lake Cullulleraine for the night.
On Tuesday the crews head to the Devil’s Elbow Sandbar for lunch. With its magnificent cliffs as a backdrop, we eagerly await stopping at this incredible location. Following lunch, the crews will then cross the border back into South Australia before a final stop at Customs House.
Day three on the water will see the boats travel along the top end of the Murray River in South Australia, with a leisurely cruise down from Customs House to the popular Woolshed Brewery for lunch before an easy run down to Renmark in the afternoon.
The final on-water leg will see the boats continue downstream to Berri for one of the highlights of each Mighty River Run - the annual Client Day Picnic. The Picnic is a chance for our ‘boaties’ to spend some time with Novita Clients who benefit from the funds raised from the Mighty River Run. Following the picnic, it’s a final push back up to Renmark, bringing the 2024 Mighty River Run to a close.
