Situated at the top of Barwell Avenue, Rocky' Country Music Hall of Fame was officially opened by Slim Dusty during the 1995 SA Country Music Festival and Awards, and stands as a tribute to the late Rocky Page.

A valuable collection of musical instruments and memorabilia awaits visitors historical and country music devotees to browse through, along with a large collection of photos and cartoons depicting many of Australias biggest names of country. The "Big Guitar" and the "Hands of Fame" are a MUST SEE feature, displaying the hand prints of famous International and Australian artists such as Slim Dusty, Smoky Dawson, Reg Lindsay and Buddy Williams, along with over 190 other noted local entertainers.

You need not be a country music fan to enjoy a visit to this interesting museum of music and memorabilia.

This facility is run by a small group of volunteers, opening times are therefore subject to volunteer availablility - please ring in advance to ensure that we will be open. Entry is by the small fee of $2 per person.

To do this we are asking for your support in one of three ways

  1. Pop in for a couple of hours and help us identify our photo histories or to tell us a story about your memories of the many great people and events we are profiling
  2. If you have a bit of a writing, research or display flair then we can also use your help on a regular or adhoc basis
  3. If you have a little more time and want to help us share these stories with others then join our roster to keep the doors open more regularly
